If your store has products that have variants (like colors and sizes), they can be listed as one base product with options. Having variants lets you give a unique SKU and UPC to each variant that enables tracking the inventory level of every variation(eg: Red M size t-shirt) of the product separately.
Options are used to customize products as per customer need, for example, customers can request a gift wrap or add toppings to a pizza.
How to Add Options and Variants to a Product?

In the Products menu, choose the All products sub-menu.

Click on the Add Product button.

In the General tab, fill in all the details of the products. To add variants to this product, check the box ‘Add variant(s) to this product’.

Now choose the Variants tab.

Choose ** Product Options** from the drop-down. Eg, Color, Size

Click on the Add Variants button. Choose from the variant combinations from the pop-up and click Save. Eg, Blue, Red

For each variant, mention the SKU, UPC, image, price details, etc. Note: Prices for products without variants are to be entered in the Price Details section in the General Tab.

In the Availability Location section, choose the store location from the drop-down and add the stock details. Click on the +Add Location to add stock details in other store locations. Enable the toggle **‘Make as default variant’ ** if you want this variant to be pre-selected on your store. The customer can select other variants as per their choice.

You can delete any variant by clicking on the delete icon.

Enter details for other variants too. Click Save. Click on the Preview button to see how the product looks on your store.
How to Edit Options and Variants of a Product?

In the Products menu, choose the All Products sub-menu.

Click on the Eye Icon to edit the product details and move to the variants tab and make necessary changes.

Click Update.
