The homepage is the most visited place in your store. It’s the page where your customers start their product search at the store. So you can highlight your best-selling Categories, a special offer, or a new category in the store under the featured categories section. This can attract customers to your assortment and motivate them to buy thus powering your sale.

How to add featured categories?

Categories assigned to featured categories will be displayed on the store under the Top Categories section.

1. In the Products menu, choose the Featured Categories sub-menu.

   

2. Click on Add Featured Categories button.

   

3. From the list of all categories in the store, you can either choose an individual category by clicking on the ‘+’ sign under Actions or you can choose multiple categories in bulk by checking the boxes on the left of each category in the list. Then click Save.

4. These categories are displayed on the store’s home page.

   

How to remove featured categories?

1. In the Products menu, choose the Featured Categories sub-menu.

2. In the Featured Category List remove individual categories by clicking on the ‘-’ symbol under Actions or you can choose multiple categories in bulk by checking the boxes on the left of each category in the list. Then click Remove.

   

3. Now these categories will not be displayed on the store’s Top Categories section.
