Twilio

ZenBasket integrates with Twilio to send text messages to store owners and customers, keeping them informed about important updates like orders, payments, shipping, and more.

How to Set up Twilio in your Store??

To enable this feature, go to the Plugins menu and select Third Party Plugins .

Activate the Twilio plugin by enabling the toggle. Once the plugin is activated, you’ll find a Settings icon. Click on it to access the configuration.

To obtain API keys, you need to create an account on Twilio. You must first either register for a new account on Twilio if you are a new user. Or log in if you already have an existing account. Your credentials will be provided to you upon completing the account creation process.

Enter the necessary credentials like Messaging Service Sid, Auth Token and Account Sid. Finally, click on the Save button.

To ensure your customers stay updated on important matters, you can easily configure SMS notifications. Just follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Settings menu.

  2. Select SMS Notifications under the Notifications section.

  3. You’ll find a list of templates. If you wish to activate any of these templates, just enable the toggle button.

For instance, with the New Order template enabled, an SMS alert goes out to both the admin and location-specific staff members when a new order is received.
