Contacts can be organized into groups based on some marketing criteria. For example wholesale customers, VIP customers, Repeat purchasers, etc. Different groups can be provided with different email marketing campaigns.

How to create Contact groups?

Any number of contact groups can be created based on any criteria. Any number of customers may be assigned to these groups. A customer can belong to any number of groups.

To create a group.

  1. In the Email Marketing menu, select the Contacts Group sub menu.

  2. Click on Add Contact Group.

  3. Enter the group name and description.

  4. Choose the contacts you want to add to this group from the contact list. Click save and your group is created.

How to View/ Edit/ Delete Contacts groups?

  1. In the Email Marketing menu, select the Contacts Group sub menu.

  2. Click on the eye icon under Actions to view the contact group details like name and the status of the contacts like Inactive, Pending, Declined and Active which are highlighted using different color codes.

  3. Click on the edit icon to make updates to the contact group details.

  4. Click on the Delete icon to remove the group from the list.

  5. The Contact group can also be filtered based on the number of contacts and Dates/Date range the group was created.
