Add Products Using Import
Products can be added in bulk using the Import function. This option allows the admin to upload a substantial number of products as an Excel file. Before importing products, set up your store’s location, create brands and categories and create options.

In the Products menu, Select the All Products sub-menu.

Click Import. Choose the product import type as From Excel Sheet.

Click on the link Sample Template in the pop-up window.

An excel file gets downloaded to the local drive.
Note: Three sheets at the bottom of the Excel file are dedicated to Products, Instructions, and Dropdown. All the details can be edited in these sheets and uploaded to your online store.

Enter details in the Product sheet of the Excel file. Save the file.
Things to remember while entering details of Products.
The values entered in the Product Name field are Case-sensitive(Capital and lower-case letters are treated differently).
Avoid using ‘,’ (comma), ‘\’(backslash), and multiple or consecutive special characters while entering the name of Products. However ‘/’(forward slash) may be used. A good example would be “Good Day Cookies 2.6 oz-cashews”.

Values must be given for mandatory fields. For example, Name, Price, Location Name, Quantity, Category Name, and Is Replaceable are mandatory fields. However, other fields can be left empty.

Enter the Brand Name, Order Quantity maximum, Short description, Product unit count, and weight unit.

Set Is Variants - TRUE if the product has any variants, otherwise enter FALSE.

Set Is Taxable - TRUE if the product is taxed, otherwise enter FALSE.

Set Is Replaceable - TRUE if the product added to the cart can be replaced on the checkout page in case of unavailability, otherwise enter FALSE.

Set Is Vegetarian - TRUE if the dish is vegetarian, otherwise enter FALSE. This option is available in the restaurant theme alone.

Set Product Availability - TRUE if there is stock available for a product.

Set Is Returnable - TRUE if you want to allow customers to initiate a return process if they are unsatisfied or encounter any issues with the item.

Images must be in one of the three formats i.e., .jpg, .jpeg, .png and webP

All the images must be uploaded to the image gallery and the link to the image must be copied and pasted into the Featured Image field. Got to the Products menu and the Image Gallery sub-menu. Click on the link icon to copy the image URL.

Enter the Option Values for each product. The variants can also be entered. For entering multiple values for a field, values can be separated using commas—for example, Option Name: Crust Style, Pizza Size.

Enter the selling price, SKU, UPC, Square POS Uuid, MRP, Whole Sale Price, Actual Price, Custom Label and image URLs. Mention TRUE/FALSE under Is Default based on whether the variant remains selected ‘by default’ on the product page. If a product has three variants, enter the product name thrice under the Product Name and correspondingly add the three variant names under the Variant Name field. Enter all possible variants for a single product and then move on to the next product.

Enter the Locations Details. Enter the Location Name and the Stock quantity. If the stock is to be denoted as Infinite (stock will always be available and the product can never run out of stock), enter -1 in the Stock field

Click Add File once all the details are entered. Browse the file from the local drive on your computer and select the file.

Add Images by clicking on Add File. Browse the images from the local drive on your computer and select them. All the images must be saved in a single folder. Upload individual images since folders cannot be uploaded.

Click Upload. If there is any error in the uploaded file, an error message gets displayed in a pop-up window and an Error Log File (excel file) gets downloaded. Errors can be viewed and rectified. Errors can also be viewed in the Import Export Log.

Now all the product details are successfully added to the online store. These products will be visible at the storefront.
Bulk Edit

In the Products menu, select the All Products sub-menu.

Click on Export icon.

Choose Export all the data in the current page. Click Start Export.

An Excel file gets downloaded where details of products can be edited. Click Save to save the changes made.

Click Import and click Add File in the popup box that opens.

Browse the file from the local drive and click Upload.
