Custom Sell Product

The Custom Sell Product feature lets you offer products designed to fit each customer’s individual preferences. Customers can personalize items by uploading their own designs.

To activate this feature in your store, go to the Plugins List under the Plugins menu.

On the Plugins page, click on Product, search for Custom Sell Product and click the Activate button.

How to Add this Feature to the Product?

  1. In the Products main menu, Select All Products sub menu.

    Note : You can add this feature to existing or new products.

  2. To edit a product, click the Edit icon for the item you wish to customize.

  3. On the product details page, go to the General tab, tick the Custom Sell Product check box, and you’ll be able to upload a custom image.

  4. In the popup, name the custom image option, set a price, and choose whether the image upload is Optional or Required for customers.

  5. If you select Optional, customers can choose whether to upload an image.

  6. If you select Required, customers must upload an image to proceed with customization. To add more custom image upload options, click Add New. Then click Save.

  7. You can edit the custom image upload details by clicking the Edit button or delete them by selecting the Delete icon next to each entry.

  8. Once you’re done, click the Update button at the top to save your changes and apply the Custom Sell Product feature to your product.

    Note: On the product details page, Custom Sell Product and Personalized Product cannot be enabled simultaneously. Enabling Custom Sell Product will automatically disable Personalized Product.

How Custom Sell Product Works on the Storefront:

  1. Customers see customization options for products with the Custom Sell Product feature. They can upload only images in the provided field, with prices displayed.

  2. A snack bar message to upload the image if they try to add the product to their cart without completing the requirement.

  3. If the field is Required, uploading an image is mandatory to proceed.

    Note: The file size should be up to 5MB.

For Customers:

  1. After uploading the custom image, click Add to Cart.

  2. On the checkout page, select a delivery method and proceed to payment.

  3. Click Buy Now to complete the purchase of the customized product.

  4. To view recent orders: Click My Profile at the top and select My Orders.

  5. On the orders page, find your most recent order and click View Details to see the order details.

  6. In the Order Item section:

  7. Click Add-On Details to view the custom image you uploaded.

  8. While the order is in the New status, you can add modifiers or delete the item.

For Admins:

  1. Log in to your store’s admin dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Orders in the main menu and select All Orders.

  3. Locate the desired order and click the View Order Details icon.

  4. In the Order Products section: Click the Customer’s Image button to view the uploaded image.

  5. To download the image, click the Download button.

  6. Once the image is downloaded, proceed to complete the order.
