It allows adding zones for configuring taxes and shipping rates.
Managing Zones
As a store owner zone management might be useful for two reasons: Taxation and shipping. Different tax rates can be applied to different zones when taxes are configured manually. Shipping zones help the admin to define where the goods are to be sold and how much has to be charged for various customer locations.
To add a zone

From the ZenBasket Admin, choose the Setting menu.

On the settings page, click on Zone Management.

A list of zones is displayed where you can edit/remove them by clicking on the edit/delete icons.

To create zones, click on the Add Zone button.

Enter the Zone name.

Click on the + sign near Countries to add countries to your Zone.

Search for countries or click on checkboxes to choose multiple countries.

Similarly, you may add States and Zip codes to your Zone. You can create a zone that consists of different countries, states, Zip codes or even a combination of the three.

Click the + sign next to States to add them to your zone. The country is set automatically based on your login environment.

Search for states or select multiple ones using the checkboxes.

If the Exclude Zipcodes box is checked, the selected zip code will be excluded, and the rule will apply to all other zip codes. Using an asterisk (*) means all zip codes are included and assigned to zones based on their location.

If the Exclude Zipcodes box is unchecked and followed by an asterisk (*), it means all zip codes starting with those numbers are included in this zone.

Click *Save.

Now your Zone gets added to the list where you can search, edit or even remove the zones.
