Points Program
A points program allows customers to earn points for various actions like making purchases or writing reviews. These points can then be redeemed for rewards, discounts, or perks, encouraging customer loyalty and engagement.
How to Add a Points Program from the Admin Side?
Go to the Points Program sub-menu under the loyalty program menu in the dashboard. It comprises of two tabs:

1.Earn Points
Click on the Add button to add earning points methods.
There are 5 default methods to earn points.

Account Creation - Customers earn points for creating an account.

Place an order - Rewards customers for making purchases.

Product Review - Rewards customers for writing reviews

Gift Card Purchase - Rewards customers for purchasing gift cards from the store.

Birthday - Rewards customers on their birthdays
1. Create an account
Enter the display name for this method and enter how many points a customer can earn for creating an account. Check the box if you want to provide rewards to guest users. Click Save to proceed.
Note: When you activate this method, your existing customers will be rewarded automatically to their account.
2.Completing an order
Enter the Display Name. Enter the Earning Type as Fixed Points or Increment of Points.
Fixed Points - Customers can earn points based on a fixed point system.
For example, if a customer places an order, he will get 500 points as fixed.
Increments of Points - Customers can earn points for every amount they spend.
For example, if a customer purchases $50, for every $10 customer gets 50 points.
Check the box if you want to Reward loyalty points to the customer upon order fulfillment (which is when the order is received by the customer) only.Click Save.
3. Leave a Review
Enter Display Name and Earning Points per review. Check the box if you want to reward your customer only after the review is published Save.
4. Gift Card Purchase
Enter the Display Name and Earning Points for each gift card purchase.Click Save.
5. Celebrate a Birthday
Enter Display Name, Earning Points, and Minimum Customer Enrollment Period (customers will get rewarded on their birthday only if they enroll their Date of Birth before this certain period). Click Save.
There are two sections Active and Inactive in the earn points tab. The earning methods are categorized based on their status, facilitating efficient management.

Use the Search option given to search for a particular method of earning points.

Filter easily based on Active/Inactive status.

Edit, Remove, or Change the Activity Status individually for each method.

Click on the Edit icon to edit the details of the method.

Click the Delete icon to remove the method.

Enable/Disable by toggling the switch.
2.Redeem Points
Click on the Add button to add a redemption method. (Note: Limited to one redeem method only).
To add Redeem Points
Enter the Display Name with Title and Spent type (Redeem directly with points).
Enter Redeem Style as fixed or increment.
Fixed Points - Customers can reduce the order value by a fixed amount based on earned points.
For example, customers can redeem Rs.100 for 100 points and can redeem only 100 points for each order.
Increments of Points - Customers can reduce the order value for every point they spend.
For example, customers can redeem Rs.80 for every 20 points.
Select the Minimum Requirement as None or enter the Minimum Purchase Value.
Click Save.

How to Use a Points Program from Storefront?
When customers click on Rewards on the homepage, they will find details on how to earn and redeem points.
Earn Points
Customers earn loyalty points when they Sign Up for a new account*, activate their account using the Activation Mail, and subsequently sign in with their login credentials.
Customers can access their loyalty points details, including their points history and referral history, by navigating to My Account on the homepage and selecting My Rewards
The Points Log provides a comprehensive view of earned points, including their Status, Activity, Date and Points.
Customers’ rewards for Account Creation are displayed in the earned column under the Loyalty Points section.
Customers are notified of the reward points they earn when they place an order.
When a customer successfully places and completes an order, they receive points as a reward.
Note: If an order is canceled or returned, the reward points will be deducted.
Customers earn loyalty points when they write a review for a product, which is applicable only when the review is published by the admin.
Customers receive loyalty points when they purchase a gift card from the store.
Customers receive birthday reward points when their birthday arrives, provided they have enrolled their birthday before the enrollment period.
Redeem Points
Customers can redeem their points while placing an order, and the loyalty points will be discounted from the order amount.
