In general, orders are created when a customer completes the checkout process. It is also possible for a store owner to make orders on behalf of any customer.

To enable the Manual order feature for your store, go to Settings-> Order Settings and enable the “Enable Manual Order” option.

How can customers enable Manual Orders for themselves?

That can be done in one of two ways:

1) Select the option Allow Manual order while signing up for the online store.

2) Customers can log in to the store and in the My Account section, enable the Allow Manual order check box.

How can a store owner enable Manual Orders for a customer?

If a customer is not able to enable manual orders using the above two methods, the store owner may enable manual orders by enabling the Accept Manual Order toggle in the customer module.

3) Go to the User Management menu and then Customers.

4) Click on the edit icon against a customer for whom you want to enable manual orders.

5) Enable the Accept Manual Order toggle.

How to create a manual order in ZenBasket?

  1. In the Orders menu, choose the All Orders sub-menu.

  2. Click on the Manual Order button.

    Note: This button will be enabled when you go to Settings-> Order Settings and enable the “Enable Manual Order” option.

  3. Search and choose the customer for whom the order will be made from the customer list.

  4. Click Next. A list of products is displayed. You may search for a product by entering a product name in the search bar. Click on the ‘+’ icon under Actions to choose products from the product list.

  5. Enter the quantity and click on the Add button. Then click Next to move to the cart.

  6. In the cart, you may add or reduce the quantity using the + or - sign and click on the delete icon to remove products from the cart.

  7. Click on Next to move to Checkout.

  8. Then Proceed with the checkout process by entering the address and choosing the shipping and payment methods. Click on Confirm to Pay to place the order successfully.
