A Brand shapes the way people see a company, its products, or individuals. Products of the same brand have a common name or logo that makes them unique. Shoppers may search for products from a specific brand. So, adding Brands to the products will give a better shopping experience.

Adding Brands

To add a brand to the online store

1. In the Products menu, Select the Brand sub-menu. A list of brands that have been created previously is displayed.

2. Click on the Sort Brand button to rearrange the order of Brands.

   

3. Click and drag the brands in the order of your preference.

   

4. Click Add Brand.

5. Enter the Brand Name, Description, search keywords, and Image. A good description may include some of the best features and solutions the brand may provide to the customers.

   

6. Click Save.

Adding Brands in bulk

1. In the Products menu, Select the Brand sub-menu.

   

2. Click Import.

3. Click on the link Sample template on the pop box that appears. An Excel sheet gets downloaded.

   

4. Enter the details like Brand Name, Search keywords, Description and Image name along with the file extension(.jpg or .png) in the sheet and Save.

   

5. Click Add File. Browse and select the excel sheet from the local drive.

6. Click Upload to add all the data to the online store.

Bulk Edit

1. In the Products menu, Select the Brand sub-menu.

2. Click on Export to download an excel sheet containing fields for brand details like brand name and description.

3. Edit the details and save the file.

4. Click Import.

5. Click Add File. Browse and select the excel sheet from the local drive.

6. Click Upload to add all the data to the online store.

Assign Products to the Brand (Two ways)

While adding Brands:

1. In the Products menu, Select the Brands sub-menu.

2. Click Add.

3. Enter Brand details and click Save. Once the Brand is successfully created, click on the Products tab.

   

4. Click Add Product.

5. Choose the products to be added to a particular Brand from the checklist displayed. Click Save.

While adding products

1. In the Products menu, select the All Products sub-menu.

2. Click Add Product.

3. Enter the details of the new product to be added. Here, Choose the Brand. So, this product is automatically assigned to the chosen option.

4. Click Save.

   

Edit /Delete Brands

1. In the Products menu, Select the Brand sub-menu.

   

2. A list of brands gets displayed. Click on Edit.

3. Enter the new details and assign products if needed.

4. Click Save.

5. Click Delete to delete the brand completely. When the brand is associated with products, you’ll be asked to confirm the removal. Click yes and your brand will be deleted successfully.
